The St Ursula’s College experience is built around a deep understanding of how girls think, work and feel. We operate in a a vibrant community that has a strong sense of its own identity as a contemporary Ursuline Catholic School. Our emphasis is on excellent teaching, educating and empowering young women for their future in a global community.
A love of learning is the aim for our students in Years 7 to 9. The Middle Years framework and philosophy is based on excellent teaching as well as inspirational curriculum areas. We are building confident learners filled with humour, curiosity and a capacity for adventure.
We achieve this by modelling qualities and values throughout the College. We weave them into our curriculum, our teaching style and our expectations of our students.
Students in Years 10 to 12 have a clear focus on transition to pathways and possibilities.
With our ethos based on the progressive values of Ursuline founder St Angela Merici, students in the Senior Years will be challenged and empowered to make informed decisions to serve and shape their world. This could include a world of work or further study options such as TAFE or university.
Small and friendly, the boarding house community at St Ursula’s College provides an environment in which every girl is nurtured and offered opportunities for growth and development. Our boarders like to be busy and we support them in all their endeavours including academic, spiritual, social, cultural and sporting.
