From the Principal

The Middle Years

"I know that my daughter has the resources at St Ursula's College to achieve to the best of her abilities"

Parent Survey Response - 2016

Students in Years 7 to 9 experience a Middle Years Framework where fostering a love of learning and developing lifelong learners is our primary aim.

This middle schooling philosophy is based on particular pedagogy and curriculum rather than organisational structures. Our Middle Years Learners are given opportunities to develop these attributes of life-long learners through our diverse curriculum where students experience education of the mind and heart.

The Senior Years

"Our daughter chose the school based on the subjects that they provided for her future"

Parent Survey Response - 2016

Senior Years at St Ursula’s groups students from Year 10 through to Year 12 and has a clear focus on transition to pathways and possibilities that enable each student access to lifelong learning. With our ethos based on the values of Ursuline founder St Angela Merici, students in the Senior Years will be challenged and empowered to make informed decisions which equip them for the world of work or further study options such as TAFE or University.

BOARDING AT ITS BEST

" I know she is receiving the best care"

Parent response - 2016 Boarding Survey

At St Ursula’s College, we aim to keep our boarding house cohort small ensuring our students do not get ' lost in the crowd' of larger boarding schools.

Our aim is to provide an environment in which every girl is nurtured and offered opportunities for growth and development across all areas including academic, spiritual, social, cultural and sporting.

All of our students are viewed as unique individuals whose journey through the College will foster strong academic and thinking skills, self-discovery and personal integrity.
